Giving Back to the Community

My staff and I have been dedicated to community involvement since the inception
of Tolley Dental in 2006. As a team, we feel that we have the ability to make a lasting impact with those that surround us in the community. As a native of Winchester, I feel strongly about giving back and have continued to make it a priority.

Over the years, we have been heavily involved with the United Way of the Northern
Shenandoah Valley. In 2016, we began our mission of giving back at Freemont Street Nursery in Winchester. The Day of Caring consists of an entire day of screening children for dental caries and recommendations for needed treatment. Over the past four Day of Caring events, Tolley Dental has been a “Cornerstone Sponsor”. We have expanded our Day of Caring volunteer work to laying new floors in the nursery, painting walls, and deep cleaning.

We are also primary sponsors of the famed Apple Blossom Festival. Through our sponsorship over the past four years, we have provided the festival with the James R. Wilkins Events Center at Shenandoah University that houses 14 events during the week of festivities. Our staff is heavily involved with organizing and helping where needed during these special events. We have found these times to be very rewarding for the city, the festival, our patients, and our team.

We are proud to be involved with Handley High School for over 14 years as a major
supporter of the Judges Athletic Association and a primary sponsor for the football and basketball teams. Our support of local high schools and athletic programs helps us to further strengthen the bond they have with our community. As an alumnus of Handley, this cause is very special to me.
