Dr. Patrick Noland grew up in Middleway, West Virginia, and has always had a strong connection to the Winchester area. His interest in dentistry came from combining his love of working with his hands with his passion for medicine and science. He appreciates the unique space where art and science come together in dentistry.
Dr. Noland graduated from Shepherd University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University in 2015. He especially enjoys restorative and cosmetic dentistry and continues to expand his knowledge in implant dentistry and 3D dentistry.
In 2016, Dr. Noland joined the Air National Guard, where he currently serves as a Major. Through Innovative Readiness Training missions, he has helped provide no-cost dental care to civilians in rural and underserved areas while also training dental technicians. For the past three years, he has also instructed students at Hagerstown Community College’s dental hygiene program in local anesthesia and dental materials.
Dr. Noland believes in treating the whole patient rather than simply addressing a problem tooth. He uses digital technology and diagnostic information to help patients understand their oral health and treatment options so they can develop a plan together. His goal is for patients to leave their appointments feeling informed and confident about their care.
He also understands that every patient is different. Some want a simple explanation, while others want to know every detail. By listening to each patient and adjusting his approach, Dr. Noland works to make dental visits as comfortable and informative as possible.
Dr. Noland values Tolley Dental’s team-oriented environment, advanced technology, and commitment to putting patients and the community first. He currently sees patients at the Winchester office.
He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry and is currently working toward his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Noland enjoys working around his home, 3D printing, reading, and learning new things. He and his wife, Maggie, have been married for five years and share their home with three cats, a 100-pound German Shepherd, and six chickens.
